On tonights show we promote two fantastic idea’s You are the Ref International, and Footy for food, first you are the ref international is aiming to preserve and humanise referees and remove much of the stigma and detachment which can be associated with them by those from outside the game, by doing this they are encouraging the world of match official community to send in a short film as part of their documentary theme for a brand new web based media channel for the exclusive insight into the world of match officials, to be launched from the 10th of June www.you-are-the-ref.com
Secondly a football themed charity which aims to support food banks in the UK, is hitting the streets of Liverpool on the 8th June, all you need to do is bring along your footy kit and donate some food to participate in a game, Footy for Food, will you get involved with DXTL. ?
