sefton council consultation

Update Facilities in Junior Football Leagues, then talk about pitch increases.

‘Mal talks about the Sefton Council Consultation, regarding pitch increases and now asks the Councils to forget the pitch increases and concentrate on better facilities for all Junior Football Leagues, before they consider any pitch increases. Maybe then people would be more willing to pay for the use of updated facilities to keep us in line with Europe. Would you be more willing to pay extra then. ?

I Just Want To Play Football

“Mal turned up at the protest meeting at Buckley Hill Playing fields in Sefton, on Merseyside, the turn out included many Children, Managers, Committee Members, and parents in a strength of support against the proposed price increases for pitch fees at grass roots football leagues, it is a growing worry that many teams will no longer survive and it could   lead to many children being left to roam the streets as they have no football matches each week end to participate in.  Their parents simply cannot afford the price increase with the many cuts they are suffering and hitting their already exhausted pockets.
